Creamy Potato Casserole

2 1/2-3 lbs shredded hash browns
2 Cups of shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup onion, diced
2 cups heavy cream

2 cup half and half
1 teaspoon salt

1.Preheat oven 350 degrees.
Combine all ingredients and stir until well mixed.
Butter a large casserole dish.
Pour mixture into dish.

Cover dish and bake for one hour.
Uncover and bake till top is golden brown approximately 20-25 minutes.
