Lasagna Roll Ups


13-16  lasagna noodles cooked

1 lb. lean ground beef
1 lb pork sausage

1 large onion, chopped
1 15 oz container ricotta cheese
1 8oz container cottage cheese
1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
1-2 cloves garlic
1 green pepper chopped
1 jar (36 oz.) spaghetti sauce, divided

1 1/2 cups Shredded Italian Five Cheese Blend
1/2 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese 
 
 
1.Heat oven to 375 degrees
2.Cook lasagna noodles as directed on package, omitting salt. Meanwhile, brown beef and sausage with onions green pepper and garlic in large skillet; drain. Return to skillet.
 3.Spread 1 cup sauce onto bottom of 13x9-inch baking dish. Stir remaining spaghetti sauce into the meat mixture and simmer 10-15 min.
4.In a bowl mix together the cottage cheese,ricotta cheese, Italian cheese and Italian seasoning.
5.Drain noodles. Spread each with 1/4 cup cheese mixture; roll up. Place, seam-sides down, over sauce in dish. Top with meat sauce and Parmesan; cover.
 6.Bake 50 min. to 1 hour or until heated through, uncovering for the last 10 min. 
* This was great and so simple to make. The kids loved that it was there own little rolls of lasagna. It comes together fast and you can even make it the day before and just keep it in the fridge so that its ready to go when you need it. I will make this again I give it a 4 1/2
